Offering Medical and Radiation Oncology, the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center uses a multidisciplinary approach for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers. Through advanced technology and a team of oncology-trained, caring and compassionate professionals, the center offers exceptional diagnostic and treatment modalities that include radiation, chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, prostate brachytherapy and hormonal treatments. Located on the Watauga Medical Center campus since its inception in 1993, there are also satellite medical oncology clinic locations in Ashe and Avery counties.

The Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center, consisting of medical oncology and radiation oncology, opened in 1993 on the Watauga Medical Center campus and recently celebrated their 20 year anniversary. The Cancer Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancers.

The American College of Surgeons awarded the Commission on Cancer® Accreditation to the Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center.

Designation status: Accredited Community Cancer Program with three commendations. The Cancer Center has been accredited by the Commission of Cancer since 1997.
