NorthWest AHEC LogoNorthwest Area Health Education Center

The Northwest AHEC Library is located on the first floor of Watauga Medical Center. The library serves healthcare professionals in a 5 county area (Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Watauga and Wilkes counties) as well as healthcare students in the local community colleges.

The public is welcome to do research at the library as well. The majority of our collection of medical information is clinical.
