Inclement Weather

For ARHS Closings & Cancellations, please call (828) 262 - 4346

During Inclement Weather, some Appalachian Regional Healthcare System (ARHS) facilities may open late, close early or close for the day. When the decision is made, it is done so with the safety of our patients and staff in mind. Notifications will be posted on the home page of this website.

Appalachian Regional Healthcare System hospitals and The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge are open 24 hours a day, 7 days week and do not close during inclement weather.

If you have any questions about an appointment or the hours of operation at any of the facilities during inclement weather, please call the facility directly for more information.

If you have an emergency, please proceed to your nearest emergency room or call 911.

Inclement Weather Plans

During inclement weather events, ARHS outpatient facilities may close early, delay opening or be closed an entire day. The inclement weather plan will be published on the home page of the website. The following is a list of facilities that may be affected.
