Laboratory

ARHS proudly recognizes its Laboratory Services as CAP accredited. This accreditation program helps us to achieve the highest standards of excellence which positively impact patient care.

The goal of achieving CAP Laboratory Accreditation is to improve patient safety by advancing the quality of pathology and laboratory services through education, standard setting and ensuring that we meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has granted the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program deeming authority. It is also recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and can be used to meet many state certification requirements.

We work closely with local physicians to ensure that we are making life better.

Our hospital labs maintain separate CLIA licenses and perform approximately 550,000 tests annually.
